Design for adaptive reuse and new construction of a residence and bookstore.  Our mission is the reclamation of Thoreau's ideals by re-establishing a family residence in the house where he was born.  Without compromising the integrity of the original structure, we seek to restore it to its past simplicity and self-sufficiency.  The construction of a new barn will house a bookstore / retail space and a one-bedroom residence.  Done in collaboration with Nicholas S.
